Ellen Kuhnert, M.B.A., B.S.N., R.N., has joined Fastaff, the leader in Rapid Response℠ travel nurse staffing, and US Nursing, the leader in job action nurse staffing, as Vice President of Business Development. Kuhnert previously served as the Regional Director for MedAssets Workforce Solutions. In her role, Kuhnert successfully led overall operations, sales and strategy for Western Region clients, overseeing approximately 200 client facilities, 500 contract labor agencies and managed $100 million in annual contract labor across the region.

Kuhnert brings a wealth of leadership experience in hospital operations and health care management. Her expertise also includes serving as Chief Nursing Officer and Assistant Chief Nursing Officer for Tenet Healthcare, where she was responsible for overall labor productivity and staffing. Prior to Tenet, she was Director of Pediatric/Neonatal and Burn Services at Western Medical Center, Santa Ana, where she led the units through successful certification. She holds an MBA degree from the University of Phoenix and a BS degree in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary’s College.
