Travel Emergency Room Nurse Jobs

Many nurses thrive on spontaneity, never knowing what the day will bring. This is especially true for emergency room (ER) nurses, as they have to think quickly in critical care situations. You can take your occupation to the next level with a travel nursing job from Fastaff — we can help you find the right position to fit your strengths.

ER Nurse Qualifications

Working in a fast-paced environment can be challenging for some nurses in new settings, especially those who just graduated from school. Making quick and mindful decisions comes with experience in this specialty. To be a nurse with Fastaff, we ask that you have one to two years of experience as a nurse in the emergency room before committing to travel. This will help you acclimate to the job and be confident in your abilities.

With travel nursing, we will place you in new emergency rooms nationwide every few weeks, depending on your assignment duration. In order to travel, you will need an active nursing license or necessary accreditation in one of the 50 states. There may be additional requirements and certifications to work in specific units or facilities.
