Our Hero Nurses – A Special Message From Our CEO, Bart Valdez

April 17, 2020

Bart Valdez, CEO of Fastaff Travel Nursing and U.S. Nursing Corporation, has a special message for our nurses and healthcare professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic.

When we received our first coronavirus order on February 28, it took mere hours to secure experienced ICU and ER nurses to fill the positions. Replacing nurses in northern California who had been quarantined due to suspected exposure, these nurses took the positions with no hesitation or fear of their own behalf. They packed their bags to arrive on the site within 48 hours, courageously stepping to the frontlines of what would soon become an era-defining emergency.

They are just one example of the many nurses who rushed to the need of COVID-19 patients these past few weeks. Our business is in the unique position of having insight into developing hotspots based on accelerating orders from specific regions. We quickly saw orders come in from all over the country, with our travel nurses continuing to run into this novel coronavirus fire.

It’s impossible not to be inspired by our nurses and all healthcare professionals right now. We remain in awe at their determination and fearlessness while fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

Thank you for all that you’re doing and keep us safe from this terrible virus.
