Neuro ICU Travel Nurse Jobs

As a neuro ICU travel nurse, you'll care for patients with life-threatening neurological conditions, from stroke to traumatic brain injury. Your duties will differ depending on the facility, though they generally include:

• Conducting frequent neuro assessments.

• Preparing patients for emergency intubation.

• Monitoring intracranial pressure and seizures.

• Managing CSF drainage, EVD care, sedation and paralytics.

• Administering medications and operating specialized equipment.

In this role, you'll collaborate with neurology and neurosurgery teams and intervene quickly when neurological status changes. Every shift requires the ability to recognize subtle changes that signal big problems.
