The ability to experience different communities/ cultures, and healthcare systems/structures.

Tell me about a time when you felt more valuable/respected because of the experience and knowledge you gained from your Fastaff assignment.

With every assignment, I acquire more value and experience, because I have created an opportunity to expand my knowledge.

What has been your most challenging Fastaff assignment and how did you feel that impacted your worth as a nurse afterward?

I consider every assignment a challenge, due to the unknown. Every assignment in it’s own right enriches my knowledge, practice and aspects of care.

Describe the most miraculous or impressive thing you’ve witnessed or been a part of during your time as a nurse with Fastaff.

I was graced by God to be apart of the largest medical emergency “the world” has bore witness to in my time, Covid-19. Through the pandemic I was able to provide care and experience true sisterhood. Also, I experienced the true caring that is nursing. It allowed healthcare professionals to come together in the greatest display of love and support ever.

How have you accomplished some of your personal and professional goals by traveling with Fastaff?

By staying focused on the picture. Having the ability to “dig in’ and “get it done.”
