What first inspired you to pursue nursing, and what drew you to Fastaff?

I pursued nursing because it’s my calling! I’m very passionate about caring for others, desire to make a tangible difference in patient’s lives through exceptional hands-on care! I was drawn to Fastaff because of the flexibility, competitive rates, & wonderful recruiters!!!

Have Fastaff assignments helped you expand your clinical skill set? How?

Most definitely! Fastaff assignments expands my clinical skill set by providing assignments that’s diverse. A diverse clinical environment allows me to learn new techniques and adapt to different care settings that build my critical thinking skills as a nurse!

Travel nurses step into unfamiliar environments. How do you adapt while delivering exceptional care?

As a travel nurse I adapt by learning the facility protocols, master the unit’s layout, foster team relationships, and maintain a patient-centered focus to deliver excellent & exceptional care!

What’s one of the biggest challenges you’ve faced as a travel nurse, and how did you navigate it?

The biggest challenge I faced as a travel nurse is having my contract cancelled in the middle of the contract! I navigated through this terrible situation by having an emergency fund set to the side and I stayed in close contact with my recruiter to find my next assignment immediately!

What would you say to a nurse considering Fastaff but unsure about rapid response travel?

I would remind the nurse if considering Fastaff to embrace rapid pacing because Fastaff is ideal for highly experienced, adaptable nurses seeking premium pay, and requires comfort with immediate, often high acuity assignments! But thankfully the recruiters are wonderful and are great resources, shoutout to my amazing recruiter Tyler Rickenbach!!!!
