Q: What do you love about recruiting for Fastaff?

There are so many things I enjoy about recruiting for Fastaff but the one thing I enjoy the most is that we are rapid response. It enables me to move quickly and adjust throughout the day and keep my nurses in the know. Our jobs change so frequently which keeps you on your toes day in and day out!

Q: How has working for Fastaff made you a better recruiter?

Fastaff has given me so much more than just skills as a recruiter but I worked my way up from an entry level role to now a Senior Recruiter in 2.5 years. I think being able to work in different departments has given me a skill set that I can carry with me for the rest of my life. We are constantly hearing from our leaders on how to become better recruiters nearly every week whether it’s how to handle a unique situation or looking deep into the analytics of things and how to be better from that.

Q: What is your favorite part of working with the nurses?

My favorite part about working with travelers is that they come from all walks of life. It’s great being able to draw comparisons with my life where I came from and how I grew up with my travelers. I enjoy learning about their day to day, ups and downs and vice versa. I learn just as much, if not more, from my travelers than they do from me.

Q: Why is Fastaff different than other agencies?

Fastaff is different from many other agencies in a few ways but one in particular, we do what nobody else can. We have the ability to mobilize a large number or travelers in hours to help hospitals in crisis. The facilities know the quality of traveler they can expect with Fastaff, which is top tier. The money speaks for itself.

Q: What do you do outside of recruiting for Fastaff?

Outside of recruiting I enjoy outdoor activities such as golf, snowboarding, mountain biking, backpacking/camping and hunting. I love hanging out with my dogs Keela (chocolate lab/hunting dog) and Ellie (mastiff/drool monster) and just being with my friends whether it’s watching the next big game on TV or going to a brewery.

Q: What is one thing people may not know about you?

One thing people may not know about me is that my shoulders are double jointed and I can dislocate my shoulders on command which I probably shouldn’t do but hey it’s 2020.
