Why do you love working with Fastaff? 

I love working with Fastaff because I have the freedom and flexibility to work anywhere. 

What do you love about nursing?

On a daily basis, nurses do so much for so many. Whether they’re helping patients, comforting families, teaching students, or working with hospital administrators, their days are often packed. It has unfortunately become a thankless profession but that’s not why I’m a nurse. I do it because I love it.

What makes travel nursing rewarding for you?

Travel nursing is rewarding to me because I’m a person who likes adventure, seeks out new places to eat and vacation, and love meeting new people.

Tell me about a time where you felt more valuable/respected because of the experience and knowledge you gained from your Fastaff assignment.

The time I felt most valuable and gained more experience on a Fastaff assignment was when I able to transition from Adult/Tele to Pediatric nursing.

What has been your most challenging Fastaff assignment and how did you feel that impacted your worth as a nurse afterwards?

Every day I work as a nurse is challenging. No day is ever the same and every patient/family member presents their own unique and complicated issues.

Describe the most miraculous or impressive thing you’ve witnessed or been a part of during your time as a nurse with Fastaff.

Children are incredibly strong and capable. The most miraculous thing I’ve witnessed is getting to see their strength in action and watch them walk out of the hospital healed. Unfortunately sometimes I don’t get to see the healing and have witnessed loss, which is a huge emotional hit. I am, however, fortunate that I am able to continue to care for children and watch their incredible resilience.

 How have you accomplished some of your personal and professional goals by traveling with Fastaff?

I have definitely accomplished financial freedom while working with Fastaff, I have been able to pay off my student loans and travel and vacation parts of the world I would never be able to see if I were a staff nurse.
