Why do you love working with Fastaff?

First and foremost, working with Fastaff is valuable. It is worth working in a comfortable workplace wherein employees are harmoniously playing their respective role, as I do. I understand that work per se has a purpose and meaning, in which Fastaff possesses great employees having their unique talents. The company allows every employee to excel and succeed. At the same, Fastaff changes and influences its people for the better. This makes me love performing my task with Fastaff.

What do you love about nursing?

The essence of a nursing job offers life-saving practices; thus, it is worth loving the job. It is by passion in which a nursing task can be performed wholeheartedly, and there can be a perceptible satisfaction in helping other people. Our role in performing this task could have an influence on patients so with the community which offers the greatest reward as a nurse, and this makes me love my nursing work.

What makes travel nursing rewarding for you?

Travel nursing is composed of healthcare professionals, which is for me can be rewarding as I belong to people whose passion is to assist patients and consider a wider scope of duties to perform. This job administers medication as well as it prepares nutritionally-specific meals. It may be challenging at the same time, yet worth working to such a job like this.

What has been your most challenging Fastaff assignment (a difficult case, surgery, patient illness, etc.) and how did you feel that impacted your worth as a nurse afterwards?

Every case could be challenging to every medical practitioner. This may be during the surgery, attending to patients’ different illnesses, or in any form of medical assistance we render, but at the end of the day, such duty is worth rewarding. What highlights its sense is that the service being rendered by a nurse that helped or survived the patient is the bottom line.

Describe a time where you felt more valuable/respected because of the experience and knowledge you gained from your Fastaff assignment.

It is when what I have learned has been practiced or applied; thus, disseminating new learning that gained value and respect from my co-workers and patients. It is always a pleasure to share the good experience with Fastaff because through this it may inspire others as well. Also, the most important is that by experience and the gained knowledge, a lot of people have been benefited in the aspect of health.

Describe the most miraculous or impressive thing you’ve witnessed or been a part of during your time as a nurse with Fastaff.

For me, it was when I attended an almost dying patient; however, it was also considered the most miraculous incident because the patient suddenly regained his life. After all, the sacrifices, the emotional and psychological effects that such incidents/cases being encountered, these were all paid off. Patients with a strong belief and faith through prayers were healed. So far, these are the common ones.

How have you accomplished some of your personal and professional goals by traveling with Fastaff (i.e. family life, financial freedom, more personal freedom, etc.)?

Both aspects of my physical being are important. It is a matter of balancing everything in such that it will not affect entirely each aspect. In as far as adjustment is concerned, everything has been managed properly. My family life is well attended so with my financial freedom, because aside from time, love, my presence, my family also needs finances for household expenses and others. On the other hand, in terms of personal freedom, this is also obtained so far. What is important is, being with the company, there is satisfaction in totality. Again, it is the passion in helping other people bridge the desire to work successfully and to enjoy life as well. There is always a reason to believe that, for as long as one enjoys what he or she is doing, no matter how hard the work is, it can successfully be performed and done.
