Fastaff Travel Nursing Wins Gold Stevie® Award for Fastest-Growing Company of the Year in Canada and U.S. in 2021 International Business Awards®

Fastaff also wins Bronze Stevie® Awards for IT Team of the Year and Frontline Medical Hero of the Year, alongside one of its COVID-19 Rapid Response® nurses

Greenwood Village, Colo. – September 20, 2021 – Fastaff Travel Nursing was named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Fastest-Growing Company of the Year – Canada and the U.S.A. category as part of the 18th Annual International Business Awards®.

“Over the last year, Fastaff has scaled its operations to meet unprecedented demand and experienced more than 25 percent growth in both revenue and hiring,” said Bart Valdez, Chief Executive Officer of CCRR, Inc; the parent of the combined healthcare staffing platforms comprised of Fastaff, LLC; Stella.ai; trustaff Management, LLC; and U.S. Nursing Corporation. “With the ability to quickly deploy thousands of nurses to critical hot spots across the nation, Fastaff was able to provide a higher level of support for patients in a matter of days, sometimes hours.”

In addition to the Gold Stevie® Award, Fastaff Travel Nursing won two Bronze Stevie® Awards for IT Team of the Year and Frontline Medical Hero of the Year with one of its COVID-19 response nurses, Grover Street.

The IT Team of the Year Award comes from Fastaff’s design of an IT stack that was critical in getting nurses into hospitals quickly as the company sent thousands of nurses to fight COVID in almost 400 facilities throughout 45 states.

“Our IT team developed best-in-class healthcare technology platforms offering self-service and transparency in job searching, resulting in faster turnaround times and better overall nurse experiences.”

Street is one of the many traveling nurses employed by Fastaff throughout the pandemic. He had hoped to retire in 2020, but instead decided to continue helping people when and where they need it most – traveling from New Jersey to New York to California and Florida.

“Among the many brave clinical heroes recognized in the past year, Grover continues to inspire those around him with a boundless energy and dedication to providing quality patient care,” said Valdez. “The COVID-19 hospital experience was among the worst he’s ever seen – even as a military veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. We can never thank him enough for his sacrifice, but hope this gives him a small token of how appreciative we are for his service.”

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small - are eligible to submit nominations. The 2021 IBAs received entries from organizations in 63 nations and territories. More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 260 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from June through early August.

As the ongoing COVID-19 crisis will prevent winners from receiving their awards on stage during a traditional gala IBA banquet, winners will be celebrated during a virtual ceremony on December 8.

“What we’ve seen in this year’s IBA nominations is that organizations around the world, in every sector, have continued to innovate and succeed, despite the setbacks, obstacles and tragedies of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Gallagher. “All of this year’s Stevie Award winners are to be applauded for their persistence and their resilience. We look forward to celebrating their achievements with them during our December 8th virtual awards ceremony.”
