eNLC Implementation: What Nurses Need to Know 
On January 19, 2018, the new  Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) program was implemented. This program provides nurses the opportunity to accept jobs in states where they were not previously licensed, without having to acquire additional state specific licenses.

Kansas Goes Compact: Time to Increase Your Opportunities 
Kansas will be the 30th state to join the Enhanced Nursing Licensure Compact (eNLC), effective July 1, 2019. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity by obtaining your Kansas Compact License. A Compact License allows you to work in all Compact States, and opens up new opportunities for more assignments and higher pay.
