Infection Control Travel Registered Nurse Job
As an infection control travel registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing surveillance and education relative to the prevention, detection, identification and control of infectious/communicable diseases within the hospital.

Infection Control RN Qualifications:
Active RN license in specified state
RN degree from an accredited registered nurse program
At least one year of infection control RN experience
BLS, ACLS and PALS credentials (certifications may vary by location)
Infection Control RN Registered Nurse Duties & Responsibilities:
·Perform assessment, reassessment, development and implementation of the infection control plan
·Assess employees and their environment for injury/illness risks and implements appropriate safety precautions and follow up procedures
·Evaluate patients for risk of transmission or exposure to infections and implements appropriate safety precautions and follow up procedures
·Conduct surveillance, reporting, data analysis and HAI prevention using NHSN criteria, CDC guidelines
·Comply with CMS, notifiable diseases and organizational reporting requirements
