OUTSIDE OF THE DC AREA:
Call L1 Enrollment at 1-877-783-4187 to pay for the processing of your fingerprints and to obtain a mailing address for submission of your fingerprint card

*Temporary permits are issued while other required docs are in process of receiving a permanent license.  Additional necessary steps to receive a permanent license MUST also be initiated. Approx 30-45 days

Additional Info

Reinstatements – Approx 2 or more weeks upon receipt of all required documentation.
24 contact hours of CEU required with original verification form signed/stamped by program sponsor
-Must contact the DC Board of Nursing to request a reinstatement application.
The application is sent back to the BON accompanied with a letter of explanation as to why the license has lapsed, proof of CEUs and verification of a current license.
-Background check required
