Happy Holidays from Fastaff Nursing!

December 22, 2015

The holiday season provides a welcome time for reflection and a chance to say something that’s on our minds daily here at Fastaff. We’re continually in awe of the intelligence, dedication, compassion and creativity shown by the nurses we’re lucky enough to represent.

After being in the travel nurse staffing business for more than two decades, we never fail to be impressed with the excellence of our travel nurses. We enjoy the privilege of partnering with outstanding nurses and gain satisfaction from helping to match the right person with the right assignment in the right location.

We’d like to use this occasion to thank you for making Fastaff great!

We’re grateful to you for making an impact wherever you may go and for raising the profile of all your fellow nurses in our community. We expect 2016 to be even better, with more opportunities than ever for our nurses.

To all of our incredible nurses; whether you’re on assignment right now or home for the holidays, we wish you a safe, warm and wonderful holiday season!

Happy Holidays and best wishes for the season!

P.S. Here are some insightful thoughts, holiday survival tips and new travel traditions from fellow nurses. Popular suggestions include:

  • Bring friends and family to your assignment city to celebrate and explore the unique local holiday festivities. Or keep in touch with technology: video conference; post to Instagram; use Twitter and Facebook, etc.

  • Meet up with other travel nurses in your area to celebrate, perhaps with help from Meetup.com.

  • Take time to relax and/or pamper yourself to help control stress from work + holidays + travel.

  • Volunteer

  • Deck your temporary halls. Decorate your hotel room or other accommodations.

  • Watch a funny, sappy or heartwarming holiday movie for a low-key holiday break.

  • Celebrate hospital holiday traditions.

  • Dare to eat out alone when traveling, which can be a heartwarming holiday bonding experience.

  • Remember all the great reasons you chose to go on assignment during the holidays! Concentrate on the unique advantages of travel nursing if you get homesick.
