Relocating To Your Travel Rn AssignmentA travel RN career is quite a bit different from the career of a permanent staff Registered Nurse. One of the things that you must become accustomed to is the housing and relocation involved with every travel RN assignment. When you work for a travel RN company, your next assignment could take you to the next county and not require any relocation, or it could take you all the way across the country. A travel RN company will pay for your housing, which usually entails a furnished apartment or extended stay suite. A travel RN assignment might also include a housing allowance and assistance finding local lodging of your choice. The relocation process is generally very easy for the Registered Nurses, because the agencies want to make it a pleasant experience in order to retain the highest quality staff. During your travel RN career, you can expect to be well taken care of. The travel RN company should also pay for your travel expenses. Some agencies will fly you to the travel RN assignment, and some will provide a mileage reimbursement, whatever you prefer. One thing that you should keep in mind if you are considering a travel RN career, though, is that pets are not always allowed on assignments. Since many rentals do not allow pets, it can become hard to find housing when this is a condition. It might be allowed in some situations though. There are usually housing options available to traveling nurses with pets. |
