Nurse Jobs With Travel Benefits

As a Registered Nurse there are some jobs that offer travel as a benefit of the position. Travel nursing allows you to go different places for months at a time while practicing nursing in a variety of settings. Most travel nursing companies provide paid travel or will reimburse mileage if you choose to drive to your assignment. They will also provide your accommodations or a stipend for your housing if you choose to find your own housing. The travel benefits each company offers can be based on what the individual nurses prefers.

For example, some nurses prefer to fly to and from their assignment, stay in the agency provided short-term stay housing and rent a car to travel to and from their assigned facility as well as the local sights. While yet other travel nurses prefer to drive themselves to their assignment in a recreational vehicle while towing their car. These travel nurses will stay in their RV and commute to and from work and the local sights using their own vehicle.

Travel benefits vary based on the nurses' needs and each nurse can decide what benefits work best for their specific situation.
