 "In 1996 I graduated as an RN in a late-life career change after spending years in business. I began my nursing career in Rochester, New York during a time when the healthcare system was undergoing changes. Hospitals were merging and hiring/transfers were under freezes. I had resigned from my first staff nursing position at this time and put in a transfer to another facility but with the mergers and hiring freezes I soon found myself out of a job. I have heard of many hospitals that offer large sign-on bonuses but they take years to pay, while FASTAFF’s bonuses are paid every 8-weeks. What else have I done since I’ve been traveling with FASTAFF? I have paid off a mortgage and made some home improvements. I’ve paid cash for cars and taken many family vacations. I was able to assist both of my daughters financially while they were in college. But best of all, I have had time off to enjoy my family.
